  • Create detailed technical reports and executive summaries for various client types, communicating complex technical issues in a clear and concise manner.

  • Act as the primary technical lead for incident response efforts, guiding clients through containment, eradication, and recovery phases.

  • Collaborate with internal teams to ensure project milestones are met and client expectations are exceeded.

  • Provide mentorship and guidance to junior security analysts on the team.

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Security, or a related field (or equivalent work experience).

  • 5+ years of experience in cybersecurity, with hands-on expertise in vulnerability management and risk assessment.

  • Proven experience with Tenable.io, Tenable.sc, and other vulnerability management solutions.

  • In-depth knowledge of security frameworks such as HIPAA, NIST 800-171, PCI-DSS, and ISO 27001.

  • Strong understanding of network security, endpoint protection, and cloud security.

  • Industry certifications such as CISSP, CEH, CISM, or GIAC are highly desirable.

  • Excellent communication skills for delivering technical content to non-technical audiences.

Preferred Skills

  • Experience securing environments for small businesses, healthcare clinics, or educational institutions.

  • Familiarity with home and individual cybersecurity, including securing home networks and personal devices.

  • Ability to work efficiently in a remote, on-call capacity and adapt to varying project needs.

  • Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.

Compensation
